Meet the committee

Hi, I'm Steph the Women's Captain this year. My role is mainly to coordinate all of the training and run some of the sessions, along with Ben the men's captain. I'm also responsible for looking after the women's team generally and making sure everyone is having a good time and getting the most from the sessions. Feel free to contact me with any quereies to do with training or Pentathlon generally!
Stephanie Gover
Women’s Captain

I coordinate training in conjunction with the women's captain Steph. We put together training sets and try and provide motivation with weekly emails keeping everyone in the loop with how we're all training hard and improving. Come varsity we select the teams to take on and smash Oxford. #GDBO
Ben Turner
Men’s Captain

I am the armourer for the club which means I am in charge of all the kit to make sure all club’s members can train properly! This involves mainly looking after the shooting and fencing kit, keeping track of it when taken home by athletes and fixing epees.

Old Blues
In the words of Alice Watson, Old Blues President:
“CUMPC has fantastic links with its ever growing group of alumni (Old Blues). I am fortunate to be Old Blues President which involves supporting CUMPC and helping connect alumni and the current club. Sometimes this even involves helping with training camps abroad. We always look forward to meeting new CUMPC members throughout the year at Old Blues, BUCS, Varsity and Annual dinner. Willing Old Blues volunteers also help to provide support for BUCS and Varsity.
I was involved in the club from 2013-2017 so know many of the recent Old Blues. I would love to hear from any alumni that wishes to join our Old Blues mailing list.”
